エンタメ半分で不定期に投稿しているサイファです。
この物件、前入居者さんはおばあちゃんだったようで、手すりだらけでした。
階段下の収納が手すりのせいで使いにくい…
ということで、写真の棒を取っ払いました（笑）
当然、取り外すと穴が…
コーキング？ パテ？ クッションフロア？ など考えましたが、
嫁さんと話して「とりあえず穴埋めればいっか！」となりました。
初のフローリング修理DIY。
キットは約5,000円。
ん〜〜 色が…合わない‼️
そして、コテでフラットにするのが難しい。
ということで、説明書には載ってませんが、
穴を埋めてラッカーシンナーで余分なやつを溶かして除去しました（笑）
とりあえず、穴は埋まって踏んでもオッケー👌になりました。
まあ、築フルなんで大丈夫なはず👌
また続報あればアップしますね！

5th Real Estate Investment Property Renovation Report #37 – Simple Flooring Repair
Hello everyone!
This is Cypher, posting irregularly and half for entertainment as always 😄
The previous tenant of this property seems to have been an elderly lady, so the place was full of handrails.
The storage space under the stairs was hard to use because the handrail was in the way.

So, I decided to just remove the bar in the photo (lol).
Of course, after removing it, there were holes left behind…
I thought about using caulking, putty, or maybe cushion flooring,
but after talking with my wife, we decided, “Let’s just fill the holes for now!”
This was my first time doing a DIY flooring repair.
The repair kit cost about 5,000 yen.
Hmm… the color didn’t match‼️
And leveling it with the iron was really tricky.

So, even though it wasn’t written in the manual,
I filled the holes and then used lacquer thinner to dissolve and remove the excess (lol).

Anyway, the holes are filled now and it’s safe to step on👌.
Well, it’s an old house, so it should be fine👌
I’ll post another update when there’s more progress!
