エンタメ半分で不定期に投稿しているサイファです。
今回は、4棟目のリフォーム続報です。
出窓の天井ベニヤが朽ちていたので、ジプトーンで天井を仕上げ、壁面はクロス貼りにしました^_^
ジプトーンは加工がしやすく、1枚500円程度とコスパも優れていますが、落としたりすると角がすぐ割れるのが難点ですね💦
さすが築古物件…写真の空洞部分など、全然直角じゃないので、 加工して取り付けようとしたところ寸法を間違えてしまい、無理やり押し込んで割れてしまいました（笑）
それでも、仕上がった白い天井はそこそこ良い感じなので、もう一部屋も同じように進める予定です^_^
一方、初挑戦となる壁紙貼りも同時進行中。
こちらも寸法ミスが多く、なんと7メートル分は失敗して捨てる羽目に…✨
でも、やればやるほど上達していくこの感覚は最高ですね😃

Hello, this is Saifa with another fun update on the renovation of my fourth investment property.
This time, I replaced the rotted ceiling veneer around a bay window using Gyptone panels, and applied wallpaper to the walls. Gyptone is affordable (around 500 yen per sheet) and easy to cut, but the corners chip easily if dropped.
As is typical with old buildings, the space wasn’t square at all, making installation difficult. I mismeasured the panel, forced it into place, and ended up cracking it—oops!
Still, the white ceiling turned out pretty well, so I plan to renovate the next room the same way.
I also tried wallpapering for the first time, and although I made several measuring mistakes and wasted about 7 meters of material, I’m steadily improving—and really enjoying the learning process!
