DIYもほぼ完了して、掃除🧹のために外の蛇口を使っていたら、
The DIY work is almost done, so while I was using the outdoor faucet for cleaning 🧹,
よく見ると蛇口のレバーからポタポタ…。
I noticed small drips coming from the lever of the faucet.
ただ、蛇口を捻った時にもれてるので、「ワンチャン放置でもいいかな〜」と思いつつ、
At first, I thought, “Well, it only leaks when I turn it on—maybe I can just leave it be…”
うーん、やっぱり後でクレームきたら面倒だし修理するか！
But then again, I figured it’d be a pain if a complaint came later—so I decided to fix it!
まずは、ここのパッキンを購入。129円なり〜。
First, I bought a new washer for 129 yen.
サクッと分解して交換完了✅
Quickly disassembled the faucet, replaced the washer, and done ✅
ついでに、外した蛇口もピカールで軽く綺麗に✨
While I was at it, I polished the faucet lightly with Pikal metal cleaner.
さて、漏水チェック！
Next, I checked for leaks
ん？まだ漏れてる💦
Hmm? Still leaking 💦
バラしてみると、シールテープがない…
When I took it apart again, I noticed there was no sealing tape…
ということで、シールテープを巻いて再接続。
So I wrapped it with sealing tape and reconnected it.
オッケーになりました(^^)
Now it’s all good! 👍
