「読み終わった本、すぐに捨ててませんか？」
実は、買う段階から「あとで同じ値段かそれ以上で売れそうな本」を意識して選ぶと、立派な資産になります。いったんAmazonやメルカリで売ってみるのも面白いですよ。
サイファはこの考え方を不動産や株にも応用しており、最近注目される金や希少なスーパーカーも同じ。資本主義が続く限り、価値のあるものの受給バランスを見極める力が重要で、読む→使う→売る、というシンプルな循環でも十分に資産形成につなげられるのです。
今回は僕が田舎で実践した副業せどりの体験談を紹介します。

💹 Keepa波形の見方（画像参照）
Keepaは、Amazon 価格の推移をグラフで確認できるブラウザ拡張機能およびWebサービスです。最安値や過去の販売履歴、ランキングの変動を追跡し、仕入れや購入の最適なタイミングを判断するのに役立ちます。僕はこれをメルカリの受給にも活用しています。
上側のグラフ：緑線 ランキングの推移
👉 グラフが下がる(良い)＝売れたタイミング。つまり売れ筋を示しています。
下側のグラフ：黒線 出品者数の推移
👉 グラフが下がる(良い)＝ライバルが減り、売れやすくなります。
⭐は僕が仕入れたタイミング
赤線を見ると、直近では3,500円以上で売れていることがわかります。
青枠を見ると 出品者が上下していて売れている可能性が高いことがわかります。
つまり、それだけ需要が高いということです。仕入れたタイミングは出品者が約8名という状況で価格が下落しくシーンではありましたが販売、管理ノウハウがあれば利益が出せると思い仕入れました。

一括買取を上手く活用しよう！
例えば100冊仕入れたら、数冊は必ず赤字商品がでてききます。
値下げを繰り返すと、結局”手数料や送料の方が高くなって捨てた方がマシ！”という事が発生します
そんな時は一括買取を依頼して、ブックオフに引き取ってもらい捨てる手間を省いて管理スパンを小さくします。
僕も活用してますが、意外とネットよりも高く売れる商品もあります☆

A Useful Book That Helps You Learn and Earn!
“Do you throw away books right after finishing them?”
In reality, if you choose books with the idea that they might sell later for the same price or more, they can become assets. Selling them on Amazon or Mercari can be surprisingly fun, too.
I apply this mindset not only to books but also to real estate and stocks. Recently, gold and rare supercars work the same way. As long as capitalism exists, the ability to judge the supply and demand of valuable items matters. Even a simple cycle of reading → using → selling can gradually help you build assets.
This time, I’m sharing my personal experience with rural side-hustle reselling (sedori).

💹 How to Read the Keepa Chart (See Image)
Keepa is a browser extension and web service that displays Amazon price history as graphs. It tracks lowest prices, past sales history, and ranking fluctuations—helpful for determining the best timing for purchasing or sourcing. I also use it to analyze Mercari supply and demand.
Upper graph: Green line → Ranking trend
👉 A downward movement (good) = the moment it sold. Indicates popular items.
Lower graph: Black line → Number of sellers
👉 A downward movement (good) = fewer competitors, making sales easier.
⭐ Marks the timing when I sourced the item.
The red line shows that recently the book has sold for over 3,500 yen.
The blue box shows changes in the number of sellers, indicating high sell-through.
This means demand is strong. I sourced it when there were around 8 sellers and the price was falling, but based on sales and management know-how, I expected to profit.

Use Bulk Buyback Effectively!
If you source 100 books, some will inevitably be unprofitable.
If you keep lowering the price, shipping and fees can exceed the sales price—making it cheaper to throw away.
In such cases, use bulk buyback services like BookOff to reduce disposal effort and improve inventory turnover.
I use it too, and sometimes items sell for more than they do online!
Cash-on-hand management is one of the most important strategies, so definitely give it a try👇
