前回の続きで、ついにメインとなる1階の洋室化＆キッチンと繋げるフェーズに入ってきました。音楽🎵を聴きながらほぼ1人で楽しくDIY💫。8月に終わらせる予定ですが、ちょうどいいペース、笑。
さて、まずは畳を捨てて角材を組む作業から。キッチン側との床高さが合わないため、角材をスペーサ用に削って、コンパネをカットして仮置きしました。
我ながら、途中なのにも関わらず「結構いい感じ❗️」と思ってきました⭐️
ちなみに、流し台を外したときに排水管を折ってしまったのですが、前回にやった床下の給排水レイアウト変更のDIYスキルがすぐに役に立ちました。（外すときはもっと慎重にやればよかったです💦）
また続報あれば投稿しますね(^^)

Continuing from last time — I’ve finally entered the main phase: converting the first-floor Japanese rooms into Western-style rooms and connecting them to the kitchen. Listening to music 🎵, I’m enjoying almost all the DIY by myself 💫. I plan to finish in August; seems like a comfortable pace, lol.
First, I removed the tatami and built the studs (timbers). Because the floor height didn’t match the kitchen side, I shaved some timber pieces to use as spacers, cut the plywood, and temporarily placed it.
Even though it’s still mid-work, I thought to myself, “This is looking pretty good!” ⭐️
When I removed the sink, I accidentally broke the drain pipe. Fortunately, the DIY skills I used previously for rerouting underfloor plumbing proved immediately useful. (I should’ve been more careful removing it 💦)
I’ll post another update when there’s more to show (^^)
