僕はドラゴンボール、るろうに剣心、スラムダンク、幽遊白書等、日本で20～30年流行った漫画が大好き！でもこの漫画…keepaの波形が超高回転！ポストカードブックという事でほとんどが絵でしたがとても綺麗！調べてみると、ドラゴンボールのような躍動感ではなく、「静かな時間を感じるアートブック」。部屋に飾っても落ち着いた雰囲気を作れるとの事。最近は色んなジャンルがあるんだなぁ～と勉強になりました。

という事で、いつも通り出荷前の”書き込みチェック＆中身さらっとを勉強”👉クリーニング後に出荷しています

上側のグラフ：緑線ランキングの推移
👉 グラフが下がる(良い)＝売れたタイミング。つまり売れ筋を示しています。

下側のグラフ：黒線　出品者数の推移
👉 グラフが下がる(良い)＝ライバルが減り、売れやすくなります。

赤線を見ると、1,000円以上で安定的に売れていることがわかります。
青枠を見ると　出品者が上下していて売れている可能性が高いことがわかります。
つまり、それだけ需要が高いということです。

ただ、この本を仕入れたのは青枠の11月4日

よくみるとここから出品者急増💦そして上のグラフをみると価格暴落💦💦

メルカリショップスに併売していて、なおかつ越境販売設定ＯＮ(つまり個人輸出あり)にしていたために売り切る事ができたのです。

越境販売とは

越境販売とは、メルカリと公式連携した越境EC事業者が、メルカリを利用できない海外在住のお客さまの購入依頼を受け、メルカリShopsの出店者から商品を購入のうえ、海外に販売及び発送を行うサービスです。

海外のお客さまとのコミュニケーション、海外への発送、輸出・通関等の手続は、すべて越境EC事業者が行います。出店者による商品の発送先は日本国内の指定の住所となります。メルカリShops内での購入・販売フローは通常の取引と変わらず、出店者側で特別な対応は一切不要です。

you can earn over ¥20,000 profit even from items sourced at around ¥1,000.

In this article, I’ll use Sousou no Frieren Premium Postcard Book as an example to show:

How to read Keepa charts
How to decide whether to purchase
And how I earned ¥227 net profit from a real transaction:
Purchase ¥220 → Sold ¥728 on Mercari Shops (with only a 10% fee — higher profit than Amazon).

This case is special because the cross-border sales setting was turned ON, allowing me to sell out just before prices crashed.

I’ve always loved long-popular manga like Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Slam Dunk, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
But this one—wow, the Keepa chart showed incredibly fast turnover!
It’s mostly illustrations rather than manga panels, yet the artwork is stunning.

Unlike Dragon Ball’s energy or Slam Dunk’s realism, this book is more of a “quiet art book”—something that brings calm to your room when displayed.
A different kind of learning experience indeed.

As always, before shipping, I do a quick “writing check” and cleaning to ensure quality.

💹 How to Read the Keepa Graph

Top graph (Green line): Ranking trends
→ When the line drops (good), it means the item sold — strong sales signal.

Bottom graph (Black line): Number of sellers
→ When the line drops (good), competitors decreased — easier to sell.

The red line shows consistent prices above ¥1,000.
The blue box shows active buy-sell movements — high demand.

However, I sourced this book on November 4 (blue section).
Right after that, sellers increased rapidly, and prices plummeted 💦

Because I had cross-border sales (personal export) turned ON on Mercari Shops,
I managed to sell it before the price crash.

🌏 What is Cross-Border Sales?

Cross-border sales is a service officially linked with Mercari’s partnered EC operators.
These operators receive purchase requests from overseas customers who can’t use Mercari directly, buy the item from domestic sellers, and handle all overseas sales and shipping.

Communication, export procedures, and customs clearance are all handled by the EC operator.
As a seller, you simply ship to a domestic address in Japan,
and the transaction process is identical to normal sales on Mercari Shops.
No special action required.

🛒 Enabling Cross-Border Sales

You can turn this feature ON or OFF in your shop settings:

Settings → Edit Shop Info → “Accept orders from cross-border EC operators”

Once you enable it, you’re done.

When a sale occurs, simply ship the item following the template provided by the operator.
That’s all!

There are no downsides for sellers.
And with today’s historically weak yen (around ¥150/USD),
Japanese used goods are considered high-quality and affordable bargains from abroad.

It’s truly a win-win opportunity.
Turn on the setting, and you might see your sales channels expand overnight!
