皆様こんにちは。
エンタメ半分で不定期に投稿しているサイファです。
今回は建具の汚れが目立つ箇所を少しずつ綺麗にしていく作業に取り掛かりました。取手部分は塗装するか検討中ですが、とりあえず今日はここまで。
また、鴨居が下がって動かなくなっていた襖について、ジャッキアップで調整を試みました✌️
現状では、レールか襖本体を削る必要がありそうです。
一方で、今日は家族全員が暇だったこともあり、思い切ってこの物件に宿泊することに（笑）
使える部屋にワンタッチテントを設置して、子供たちはキャンプ気分で大はしゃぎ ^_^
電気が来ていない部屋もあり、お化け屋敷のような雰囲気もまた一興です。

Renovation Update #17: Camping With the Family in Our 4th Investment Property
Hello everyone,
This is Saifa, posting irregularly with a mix of fun and renovation updates!
Today, I worked on cleaning up some dirty parts of the sliding doors (fusuma). I’m considering painting the handles, but I wrapped up the task for now.
There was also a sliding door that wouldn’t move because the top rail (kamoi) had sagged, so I tried lifting it with a jack ✌️
Most likely, I’ll need to shave down either the track or the door itself.
Since the whole family had some free time today, we decided to stay overnight at the property—yep, seriously 😆
We set up a pop-up tent in one of the usable rooms, and the kids were thrilled to experience a camping vibe inside the house. Some rooms still have no electricity, adding a bit of haunted-house atmosphere to the experience!
