Keepaは、Amazon 価格の推移をグラフで確認できるブラウザ拡張機能およびWebサービスです。最安値や過去の販売履歴、ランキングの変動を追跡し、仕入れや購入の最適なタイミングを判断するのに役立ちます。僕はこれをメルカリの受給にも活用しています。

上側のグラフ：緑線 ランキングの推移
👉 グラフが下がる(良い)＝売れたタイミング。つまり売れ筋を示しています。

下側のグラフ：黒線　出品者数の推移
👉 グラフが下がる(良い)＝ライバルが減り、売れやすくなります。

⭐は僕が仕入れたタイミング

赤線を見ると、直近では2,000円前後で売れていることがわかります。
青枠を見ると　出品者が上下していて売れている可能性が高いことがわかります。
つまり、それだけ需要が高いということです。仕入れたタイミングは出品者が約20名という状況でややライバルが多状況でしたが、220円という仕入れ値と過去の波形からみても損失になる可能性はとても低いという判断から購入しました。釣り好きとしては、中身も楽しんで不用品として次の人にお渡しして利益がだせる最高の一冊です。

Keepa is a browser extension and web service that allows you to check the historical trends of Amazon prices. It helps determine the optimal time to buy or source goods by tracking the lowest price, past sales history, and ranking fluctuations. I also apply this to read supply and demand on Mercari.

  • Upper Chart: Green Line – Sales Rank
    • 👉 A dip in the graph (Good) = A sale has occurred. This shows its selling velocity.
  • Lower Chart: Black Line – Number of Sellers
    • 👉 A dip in the graph (Good) = Competition is decreasing, making it easier to sell.
  • ⭐ marks the time I sourced the item.

The red line shows that the book has recently been selling for around ¥2,000. The blue box shows that the number of sellers fluctuates, indicating a high likelihood of sales. This means demand is high.

When I sourced it, there were about 20 sellers, making the competition slightly high. However, based on the purchase price of ¥220 and the historical trends, I judged the risk of loss to be very low. As a fishing lover, this was the perfect book—I got to enjoy the content, pass it on as a used item, and make a profit!

Use Bulk Buyback Services Effectively!

If you source 100 books, a few are bound to be unprofitable. If you repeatedly lower the price, you might end up in a situation where “the fees and shipping costs are higher, so it’s better to just throw it away!”

In such cases, use a bulk buyback service to have Book-Off (or similar services) take the items off your hands. This saves you the effort of disposal and reduces your management span.
