「読み終わった本、すぐに捨ててませんか？」
実は、買う段階から「あとで同じ値段かそれ以上で売れそうな本」を意識して選ぶと、立派な資産になります。いったんAmazonやメルカリで売ってみるのも面白いですよ。
サイファはこの考え方を不動産や株にも応用しており、最近注目される金や希少なスーパーカーも同じ。資本主義が続く限り、価値のあるものの受給バランスを見極める力が重要で、読む→使う→売る、というシンプルな循環でも十分に資産形成につなげられるのです。
今回は僕が田舎で実践した副業せどりの体験談を紹介します。

実はこの本、定価が2,750円と高額なため、少しでも安く読みたい人が常に探している「鉄板商品」です。
発売から数年経っても人気が衰えない理由は主に2つ。 1つはメンタリストDaiGo氏が紹介し知名度が定着していること。 もう1つは、コロナ禍を経て「正しいデータを見せても話が通じない」という社会の分断が進み、その解決策を求めるニーズが爆発的に増えたからと考えられます。

💹 Keepa波形の見方（画像参照）
Keepaは、Amazon 価格の推移をグラフで確認できるブラウザ拡張機能およびWebサービスです。最安値や過去の販売履歴、ランキングの変動を追跡し、仕入れや購入の最適なタイミングを判断するのに役立ちます。
上側のグラフ：緑線 ランキングの推移
👉 グラフが下がる(良い)＝売れたタイミング。つまり売れ筋を示しています。
下側のグラフ：黒線 出品者数の推移
👉 グラフが下がる(良い)＝ライバルが減り、売れやすくなります。
⭐は僕が仕入れたタイミング
赤線を見ると、直近では1,200円以上で売れていることがわかります。
青枠を見ると 出品者が上下していて売れている可能性が高いことがわかります。
つまり、それだけ需要が高いということです。仕入れたタイミングは出品者が約45名とかなりきびしい状況でしたが販売、管理ノウハウがあれば利益が出せると思い仕入れました。途中価格が下落するシーンもありましたがしっかりと黒字で売りることができました。

一括買取を上手く活用しよう！
例えば100冊仕入れたら、数冊は必ず赤字商品がでてききます。
値下げを繰り返すと、結局”手数料や送料の方が高くなって捨てた方がマシ！”という事が発生します
そんな時は一括買取を依頼して、ブックオフに引き取ってもらい捨てる手間を省いて管理スパンを小さくします。
僕も活用してますが、意外とネットよりも高く売れる商品もあります☆

“Do you just throw away books after you finish reading them?”
In fact, if you consciously select books that you think you can sell later for the same price or more, they become valuable assets. It can be interesting to try selling them on Amazon or Mercari.
Cypher applies this mindset to real estate and stocks, and the same principle applies to recently highlighted items like gold and rare supercars. As long as capitalism continues, the ability to assess the supply and demand balance of valuable items is crucial. Even through the simple cycle of Read → Use → Sell, you can sufficiently build assets.
This time, I will share my experience with a side business in reselling (“sedori”) that I practice in the countryside.

The truth is, because the list price of this book is high at ¥2,750, it is a “guaranteed seller” that people who want to read it cheaply are constantly looking for.
There are mainly two reasons why its popularity hasn’t waned years after its release:
- It was introduced by Mentalist DaiGo, establishing its high profile.
- It is thought that the division in society accelerated after the COVID-19 pandemic—where “people won’t listen even when presented with facts”—leading to a massive explosion in demand for solutions.

💹 How to Read the Keepa Graph (See Image)
Keepa is a browser extension and web service that allows you to check the transition of Amazon prices on a graph. It helps you track the lowest price, past sales history, and ranking fluctuations to determine the optimal timing for purchasing or buying.
- Upper Graph: Green Line $\rightarrow$ Rank Transition
- 👉 The graph going down (good) = When it sold. This indicates it is a fast-selling item.
- Lower Graph: Black Line $\rightarrow$ Number of Sellers Transition
- 👉 The graph going down (good) = Rivals decrease, making it easier to sell.
- ⭐ indicates the timing when I made the purchase.
The red line shows that recently it has been selling for over ¥1,200.
The blue box shows that the number of sellers is fluctuating, indicating a high probability that it is selling.
This means the demand is very high. Although the situation was tough when I purchased it (about 45 sellers), I bought it believing I could make a profit with my sales and management know-how. Despite a scene where the price dropped midway, I was able to sell it at a solid profit.

Make Good Use of Bulk Trade-Ins!
For example, if you purchase 100 books, a few are bound to be loss-making items.
If you keep lowering the price, you’ll eventually face the situation where “fees and shipping costs are higher, so it’s better to just throw it away!”
In such cases, request a bulk trade-in and have Book Off take them, saving you the hassle of disposal and minimizing your management span.
